Made a quick smallie stop on the road trip back home! Special thank you to our friends Micky and Andrew for hosting us once again at their beautiful waterfront retreat last night. They had a busy weekend competing in the Kenora Walleye Open but lent us their Alumacraft 165 Classic Tiller so we could do quick little fishing session on the way through. I love this little boat! I picked up a couple nice smallmouth on a Ned Rig before it was time to hit the hay, and then continue towards home. What a trip this has been! Stopping here was certainly one of the highlights!
Big ups for today's user catch go out to @martybarbarich "Nice smallmouth from the Tippecanoe River".
Exploring new waters is always enjoyable, but finding and catching some fish makes it even better! We had a great experience getting into some smallmouth bass and northern pike on Georgian Bay at Sturgeon Bay Provincial Park. We're back on the road to our next destination and I cannot wait to see how the next adventure unfolds!
